*Hikari briefly appears on the screen, a Happiny in her arms. It doesn't look particularly happy. She's not smiling all that much either.*

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet or not, but Ken Ichijouji has gone back home.

*And well... there's no real reason to say much else, so she's going to cut the feed for now.*

[Accidental Video/Action for Goldenrod Department Store]

*Well, Hikari didn't realize this, but as she was shopping for things with Happiny in the shopping carts basket, the little pokémon had somehow managed to get a hold of Hikari's pokégear. Hence the video that's going on right now.*

Okay. So I got a few of those TM's that I wanted to get, stocked up a bit more on potions and things. Is there anything else that I should've gotten.

Togetic!

*And sure enough, Hikari's Togetic was flying around, looking around the whole store with wide eyes before moving to fly over to Hikari.*

Togetic! Tictic!

Togetic, what's wrong?

*The Togetic flies off towards a shelf and grabs something from it after sitting down next to it. It isn't until it starts glowing that Hikari realizes what it was.*

Togetic, wait a second, you're not supposed to...

*Togetic's body just starts suddenly growing and growing the shelf it was on collapsed under it's sudden weight as it evolved. Someone must've somehow left the stone outside of it's case.

Hikari frowned, before letting out a sigh as her new Togekiss let out a trill of happiness. At the very least her now giant birdy doesn't seem to be hurt.*

I really hope that the stuff on that shelf wasn't broken.

*Oh, Takeru-kun. He obviously needed to know exactly what was going on just as well as she did, didn't he? She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself a bit. When Takeru had left last time, it didn't hurt much, she knew he was okay.

But things between them were different now. They were... together. What if... what if he leaved again?*

We will. And we'll make sure to take care of his pokémon for him.

[That's what he's afraid of but he tries not to show it. He'll be reassuring for her. He'll be strong for her, forever and always. This hope to her light.]

Of course. Just like what we did for Daisuke-kun, right? [He tries to give her a smile.] Because funnily enough, I think the pokemon Ichijouji-kun left me are Daisuke-kun's.

[Gripping the pokeball with more certainty, he shoves it in his pocket.] Where are you right now, by the way?

Really? Well, I guess that makes some sense, I got the Happiny that Ken gave me the first time back.

And well, I'm still at the department store trying to sort out the mess that Togeti... no, Togekiss made.

Wait, Togetic evolved?

[Okay, how could he have missed that? It probably went on broadcast the moment he turned off his Gear out of frustration. Oh well. Not to worry, he's rushing over to the department store now. It's not really that far from the Center.]

Hold on, I'm coming to help.

Yeah, he grabbed a Shiny Stone from a shelf.

... The shelf's kinda not there anymore.

[Blink. Blink.]

I guess that's how much he wanted to... evolve, huh?

Well, it was more he kinda... ballooned up in size and gained about 38 kilograms in an instant. Though I'm guessing the shelf itself wasn't really all that sturdy to begin with, considering everything.

What... did the store keepers say? Do we have to replace the shelf?

No.

Just some of the stuff on it. Apparently the shelf can be put back together.

... Why they'd want to put back together a shelf that an eighty pound bird managed to destroy by landing on it, I don't know.

From the looks of it, they should just buy a sturdier one instead.

Yeah. They really should...

Though I guess it's better on my wallet this way.

It's best for both our wallets. [Because there's no way he'll let Hikari pay for those expenses alone if he can help it.

In any case, he finally arrives and when he does, he gives a short wave and a small smile.] Well, where's the mess?

*Hikari smiles as she sees Takeru show up near her.*

Right over here.

*And with that, she points over to the still taken apart table, before she goes to help one of the workers pick up any of the damaged goods again.

She wasn't going to mention the part where he said he'd help pay for it. That really... wasn't fair though. She'd need to stop him if he tried.*

[Well, he's not going to let the girl he cares about the most pay for them alone either. In any case, when he does arrive, he instantly helps Hikari pick up the goods with a smile.]

This is an interesting date.

*Hikari giggles.*

We'll need to think of a better one later.

[While he's picking up the goods, his hand brushes against hers accidentally that makes him blush but instead, he takes this as an opportunity to hold it more securely.]

Well, I saw a nice restaurant a while ago. Wanna head there after this? My treat. Sort of like... a celebration for Togetic's evolution.

*Hikari smiled, blushing a bit as she gave his hand a quick squeeze back.*

Sure. That sounds great.

*Togekiss decided to fly over to them and let out a few happy sounds... before going and nudging up against Takeru playfully.*

[That earns a chuckle from him.]

And Togekiss agrees too. [He gives the Pokemon a pat with his free hand.] You should help us with this mess, though.

*Togekiss blinks, almost as if he didn't realize what Takeru was talking about.

Hikari couldn't help but just let out a giggle.*

[And to the Togekiss who seem to be playing innocent--]

Hey, don't pretend you don't know what you started. [But Takeru's still just smiling, the reprimand coming off as more of a tease than a warning.]

*Hikari works on picking up the last of the merchandise, giving it to one of the store clerks who were near her.

Togekiss let's out a small trill that's... kinda remorseful. Maybe.*

Well, next time you want something, ask me first, okay?

[And still to Togekiss--]

What she said. Hikari-chan's really kind, you know.

Kiss!

*And there Togekiss went, nudging it's head into Takeru's chest again. Hikari couldn't help but giggle a bit more.*

[He blushes at the purr Togekiss gave since it almost means something else, but he smiles at Togekiss instead.]

I'm taking that as a yes.

[And he'll go and pat the Pokemon's head now.]

*Hikari smiles as Togekiss purrs as it's pet again.*

Yeah, I think that means yes too.

*Though she'll probably need to learn some of what Togekiss's calls mean again, considering he was a different pokémon now.*
