*Hikari briefly appears on the screen, a Happiny in her arms. It doesn't look particularly happy. She's not smiling all that much either.*

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet or not, but Ken Ichijouji has gone back home.

*And well... there's no real reason to say much else, so she's going to cut the feed for now.*

[Accidental Video/Action for Goldenrod Department Store]

*Well, Hikari didn't realize this, but as she was shopping for things with Happiny in the shopping carts basket, the little pokémon had somehow managed to get a hold of Hikari's pokégear. Hence the video that's going on right now.*

Okay. So I got a few of those TM's that I wanted to get, stocked up a bit more on potions and things. Is there anything else that I should've gotten.

Togetic!

*And sure enough, Hikari's Togetic was flying around, looking around the whole store with wide eyes before moving to fly over to Hikari.*

Togetic! Tictic!

Togetic, what's wrong?

*The Togetic flies off towards a shelf and grabs something from it after sitting down next to it. It isn't until it starts glowing that Hikari realizes what it was.*

Togetic, wait a second, you're not supposed to...

*Togetic's body just starts suddenly growing and growing the shelf it was on collapsed under it's sudden weight as it evolved. Someone must've somehow left the stone outside of it's case.

Hikari frowned, before letting out a sigh as her new Togekiss let out a trill of happiness. At the very least her now giant birdy doesn't seem to be hurt.*

I really hope that the stuff on that shelf wasn't broken.

[Takeru's currently looking down at a pokeball that houses Daisuke's Feraligatr that he gave to Ken. Which is now in his care because of the latter's departure. His expression is that of sadness and frustration, mostly because of the fact that his friends keep on leaving.

A fear that he didn't know existed within him suddenly surfaces. What if Hikari also leaves? But he insistently shakes this away.]

We'll miss him.

Hey... [Yes hello familiar face. Remember this girl?]

[...oh wow, evolution, and Winry's not even that much familiar with the species, so seeing it is kind of even greater than usual.]

But congrats on the evolution. I hope it didn't cause too much trouble?

He's never done anything like that before. It's weird. If he wanted to evolve, he could've just moved me over to it and pointed it out.

*Oh, Takeru-kun. He obviously needed to know exactly what was going on just as well as she did, didn't he? She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself a bit. When Takeru had left last time, it didn't hurt much, she knew he was okay.

But things between them were different now. They were... together. What if... what if he leaved again?*

We will. And we'll make sure to take care of his pokémon for him.

Hi there. And thanks. He's left here before, but even so, this time around he was with us for a lot longer.

*Hikari blinks, looking over at Togekiss who's just flying a bit happily.*

Thanks. Not really, there was a lot less stuff broken than I though that would be, considering its size now.

And I'm a bit confused on how suddenly gaining all that mass in an instant isn't bad for him... but apparently that's normal with Togekiss and Shiny Stones.

Hey, he might come back sooner than you even notice and stay here even longer. [Got to stay optimistic?

Looking at the pokemon for a moment too.]

That's great. I'm glad to hear that considering how illogical this place can be when pokemon cause - unintentional - trouble.

It's kind of weird, but maybe it really is normal for them. [Sheepish grin.] I'm not really looking forward to evolving my Growlithe into an Arcanine, when I think about the size difference and all the problems that come with it... But maybe it won't be too bad either.

Yeah, you're right. Besides, this just means he's back home with everyone else anyway, right?

And yeah, that's kinda similar. Though I don't think it's quite as drastic as what happened with Togekiss here.

If you say so, then I believe you. I wish that's what everyone who disappear from this world do anyway.

It depends. Someone could evolve their Growlithe somewhere with very little space - or the dog could go wild and not realize its own size. At least it couldn't do the same what Togekiss did! And when you're traveling with someone who always gets tackled by all dogs, well... He'll survive alive, somehow.

Yeah. I've heard people say that's what happened to them before, so it's something that's really reassuring to know.

And I can see where all of that could be a problem? Any reason why he gets tackled by all the dogs though?

Er, I was talking about Ken, but yeah, stealing an evolution stone is pretty bad too. Maybe he just really wanted it?

Of course. Just like what we did for Daisuke-kun, right? [He tries to give her a smile.] Because funnily enough, I think the pokemon Ichijouji-kun left me are Daisuke-kun's.

[Gripping the pokeball with more certainty, he shoves it in his pocket.] Where are you right now, by the way?

Oh. Sorry. It's... just, things have been pretty hectic with that now and I'm trying to get it sorted out.

*She sighs.*

At least things didn't go too badly, and Ken's back home with everyone else, so he should be fine.

Really? Well, I guess that makes some sense, I got the Happiny that Ken gave me the first time back.

And well, I'm still at the department store trying to sort out the mess that Togeti... no, Togekiss made.

Wait, Togetic evolved?

[Okay, how could he have missed that? It probably went on broadcast the moment he turned off his Gear out of frustration. Oh well. Not to worry, he's rushing over to the department store now. It's not really that far from the Center.]

Hey, it happened to me too when I disappeared for [pause, while she's thinking.] some months. So at least it's true for those who are still alive in their own world.

[Shrug] It could be a problem with giant pokemon who don't even listen to their trainers at all. [No such problem with your adorable bird or her loyal dog, of course.] And I don't know, all dogs just do that to Ed at home and in here too. He's very happy about my dog army.

Yeah, he grabbed a Shiny Stone from a shelf.

... The shelf's kinda not there anymore.

That's good. So there's definitely nothing to worry about with him then.

And wow, that sounds really cute. He must have a way with the dogs then.

Nope, nothing to worry about him. You can have my word for it.

I think they think that he's one of them. And I guess it's cute as long as it's not a heavy dog like an Arcanine doing it to a person. ...Either way, I should get a few evolutionary stones sooner or later.

Yeah, that's definitely a good idea. I'm going to check to see if any more of my pokémon evolve with stones and then get them if they don't cost too much. That Shiny Stone did cost a bit much.

[Blink. Blink.]

I guess that's how much he wanted to... evolve, huh?

Well, it was more he kinda... ballooned up in size and gained about 38 kilograms in an instant. Though I'm guessing the shelf itself wasn't really all that sturdy to begin with, considering everything.

What... did the store keepers say? Do we have to replace the shelf?

Yeah, at least we know they go home.

[There's a soft sniffle. She's finally done crying about it... for now, at least. But before she even remarks on the second part, she catches that little scene with the Togekiss and gasps.]
