[Well, it was a normal, bright day in Violet City. Perfect to let some pokémon run around and relax, right?

That's exactly the idea Hikari had, which is why right now her Togepi and Happiny are running around, having run and generally exploring everywhere under Hikari's watchful eye. She would've had more of them out, but right now, that definitely wasn't a good idea. All she needed to do was have on of her pokémon distract her for two seconds for the babies to run off, and then she'd start freaking out and trying to tear up the city looking for them.

So yeah, not a good idea to let more of them out at a time. Especially since Togepi and Happiny were having a lot of run just running up and saying hi to well... everyone that passed them by.]

Okay you two! Hold still for a minute, okay?

[Hikari moved to pull out her camera, but then something happened that got her to stop doing it. Togepi blinked, frowning a bit as she started to glow.]

Togepi? What's happening?

[She runs over to the babies, and Happiny just let's out a happy squeal as Togepi glows a bit brighter. And seems to grow a bit, until finally, the light fades away. And the Togepi looks quite a bit different.]

Toge! Togeetic!

[And before Hikari can even react, there's now a small, but bigger flying pokémon pouncing on her and knocking her into the ground. Followed by a Happiny jumping on her. Oh dear, Hikari's being crushed by cute. When has this happened before?]

[Okay, this is weird. How come he can see her through this device? Is this like some form of advanced cellphone? Well, it does look like one. Better check if it works.]

Hikari-chan?

[He presses some more buttons and the video function activates. Here, Hikari will be able to see that Takeru's in New Bark Town and he's not alone.

Because he has a friend with him.

Who seems to be looking up at him with a smile.

Takeru, however, is currently filled with concern.]

Are you okay? Are those creatures- [No, they're not Digimon. He had already realized that when he took a closer look at his new friend. Which will come to view now when he angles the device to show her. A smiling Chikorita.] --Are they like him? [Pokemon, was it?]

[Hikari, Happiny, and Togetic blink as they hear that voice. It couldn't be... could it?

Either way, Hikari's already turning around and picking up her Pokégear, looking over at it. So far it was only the voice, but she knew it anywhere.]

[And then the Video came on and Hikari couldn't help but smile.]

Takeru-kun! You're back!

[And then she blinks again, realizing that Takeru didn't recognize the pokémon.]

Yeah, they are. Almost exactly like yours. Only they're mine, actually.

It's good to see you again.

To... see me again? But, Hikari-chan, we just saw each other and-- [He pauses since he has a vague idea of what's happening here now. He glances at Chikorita and then back at his own Pokégear.]

Are we in a completely different world? [It would make sense if that's true since this isn't the Digital World and ever since arriving at the Digital World, Takeru had been open to the possibilities of other worlds out there.]

So that's what a Togetic evolves into~. Congrats! ...I hope the sudden fall the ground didn't hurt.

[Hikari nodded.]

Yeah, it is. This place is called Johto. I've... been here for months now, actually. Time is a bit weird with where it takes people from.

[And she had to do was look at Miyako-san, after all.]

What's the last thing you remember?

[Togetic is just letting out a few happy squeals, seeing Takeru back has it pretty excited.]

And no, I'm fine. It didn't hurt all that much. Then again, having four or more young pokémon at once might just have gotten me a bit used to it. This kinda happens a lot whenever I have most of my team out.

I see. [Johto, huh... Okay, he can deal with that. He actually lets out a lopsided smile at how Togetic is behaving. It seems pretty excited to see him and that makes him wonder a bit.] So, it's not like how time flows from our world and the Digital World, then?

[At her question:] --Oh, well, it's been a few days since we defeated BelialVandemon. How about you?

...And I meant to say Togepi. [Winry scratches her head.]

Oh. Well, it's all good until one of them evolves into its final form and steals you into a hug from the rest of them?

[Did someone mention hugs?! Aurum the Pikachu from Ed comes to get one from Winry.]

Yeah. Well, not like that. I mean, Miyako-san's... from way before me and Daisuke, to give an example. She's back from when Ichijouji-kun was still the Kaiser.

... And I'm around three months or so after we defeated Beliai Vamdemon.

It's okay, I know what you meant.

And yeah, I guess. I hope that doesn't start making some of my other pokémon not like each other.

[Blink, oh, so that's where Aurum went.]

Hi there Aurum! How are you?

[She giggles.] Aww, Hikari-chan, they're so cute!

Oh. [He blinks. Not only does it seem to have differences in the flow of time, this world can also pull people from different points in it. That raises a notch of alarm within him which he sets aside for now.] I guess it really is a bit weird.

[And then, he remembers something:] -By the way, Hikari-chan, what did you mean by I'm back earlier?

[Hikari blinkes, as Togetic trills out a bit and tries to take over the pokégear.]

Well... you were kinda here before, but you ended up being sent home.

[Hikari giggles a bit herself.]

Yeah, they really are!

[That just shocks him.]

But... I don't remember being in this place before. [He gives his surroundings another browse. By this moment, Chikorita nuzzles its head against his leg that he crouches down to pet it.]

Hey nice one, Hikari! You can only get that one through happiness level!

[Hikari giggles as Togetic starts nuzzling against her cheek.]

Yeah, I know! And that definitely goes to explaining all this cuddling.

[And then Happiny decides to jump on her again too.]

[Hikari nods at that.]

Yeah. It seems like that happens sometime. The other you that was here was also from around the same point in time that I was. This place is just pretty confusing at times.

Well, if anyone can get a happiness evolution, it's gotta be you.

Were you taking them out for a while? Looks like you guys are having fun.

Yeah, I was. I figured I'd let them get some exercise. Need to let some of the others out later, but well, I didn't want to have too many of them running around. Six at once is a bit... hectic to keep track of.
