[So, Hikari's been travelling with Ken on Route_29, heading to Cherrygrove City where the others were. They haven't been traveling particularly fast though. So... was Hikari taking the time to take photos of the scenery like she said she was going to?

Not quite.]

Eevee! Get back here!

[See, with the Pokegear on, you can see Eevee out of its pokeball... and running to pounce onto a nearby Pidgey. It's growling, which sorta sounds adorable coming from the cute fluffy brown pokemon.]

Is everything all right?

[She sighs, hearing the message and grabbing her pokegear.]

No. Eevee keeps attacking every wild pokemon we come across.

[The Pidgey lets out a yelp as it gets thrown behind Hikari in the image while Eevee chases after it.]

Eevee! Stop tormenting it!

[Eevee just pounces on top of it instead.]

Are they a threat at all or does she just a hunter?

... I think it just likes pouncing on them. I mean, I know that they attack sometimes but we've... mostly had Eevee attack them.

I think I'm going to have to keep him in the pokeball from now on. That seems kinda cruel, but I can't have him trying to hurt everything.

[[Got the gender wrong again! Aaa, he had no luck with this.]]

[[and a nod]]

And so he doesn't get hurt if he attacks something stronger.

That too...

[She sighs... right as Eevee trots up to her, looking rather proud of himself.]

Vee!

Eevee... you can't just attack everything!

Vee!

[Apparently Eevee's answer to that was to just jump on her, knocking her to the ground. And knocking a pokeball loose.]

!

Are you all right?!

[The pokegear landed on the ground, pointing over towards where the Pidgey lay on its back, the pokeball rolling towards it.]

I'm alright. He's just being friendly and trying to distract me from being angry at him. I think.

[And there goes the pokeball, rolling into Pidgey and soon enough the pokemon is sucked inside it. The ball starts shaking, even as Hikari gets up to get the pokegear, looking into it.]

I guess I should put him back in his ball no...

-DING-

[Hikari blinks, turning to look over where it came from, seeing a single pokeball on the ground. And no Pidgey.]

Where'd the Pidgey go?

[[blink blink. Huh. That was new.]] I think he went into the ball...

But wait, doesn't that mean it was...

Was captured?

Maybe that counted as a battle!

[[granted, he's just going from the handbook so what does he know]]

I guess.

But now I have a bird to take care of. Hope Eevee will be nice to it now though...

It's a companion now, so she wouldn't have any reason not to, right?

So, have you managed to catch any pokemon yet? I mean, I know that what lots of people here have been trying to do...

Kinda seems a bit mean to do though...

[[shakes his head]] I haven't seen any that weren't with someone else yet.

And it does seem a little mean, but as long as their taken well care of afterwards, I think it's probably all right...

I'm going to have to take care of this Pidgey really well then to make up for Eevee beating it up like that...

But that shouldn't be too hard, right? You seem like you're the type of person who'd do that normally.

[Thump! There it goes after another one now that the other Pidgey has been captured accidentally.]

That creature gonna need extra training, Hikari-chan.

[Well, what can he do via video? Watching in pure amusement, of course.]

I'll get started on that.

[The Eevee seems to be board of beating Pidgey now, so he's moving over to sit back by Hikari again.

Hikari recalls it in the pokeball before it does any more damage.]

[Oh well, that's that.]

How far are you now?

Not too sure, actually. I think we might be almost to Cherrygrove.

...For how long you have been walking?

Since Sunday.

Oh, right... Still needs 2, or 3 days, huh?

Guess I'll wait around the gate when you two arrived here.

[Because PokeGear is a helpful things lol, and Takeru always made a bad joke anyway.]

Yeah, he did. He's been attacking almost any wild pokemon he see's lately.

[She laughs.] Nice to hear from you, too! You came shortly after we did, didn't you?

That's sure what it seems like!

[Eevee moves over to Hikari and lays down in front of her.]

Aww, yours sounds so cute! When we meet up, you have to let me see him.

Bingo! Maybe we can even have a battle!

... well, even if I don't want to do that, Eevee probably will, knowing him.

I think they have fun doing that. Kind of like play-wrestling.

... Oh.

Well, I think so... I know my bird gets really excited when he gets to fight... maybe it's how they have fun, since it doesn't look like we're here to save the world from any scary overlords.

I see.

Well, at least that last part is a good thing!
