[Action for Cherrygrove, Daytime]

*Hikari sighs as she walks into Cherrygrove, frowning a bit as she's moving. It had been while since she had been back here. But well, they had had to do a bit of training to be able to get out of Blackthorn, and while Hikari knew it was a good idea she was still having a hard time wrapping her head around this whole fighting for fun thing. Even if Eevee and a few of her other pokémon really seemed to like it.*

Vee!

*Speaking of Eevee, he running around Hikari, being really, really excited, jumping all over the place now that his trainer seems like she's letting him fight a lot more now.

Hikari giggles briefly, before moving to pull out her Pokégear. There was a few things that she needed to do, after all.*

Ichijouji-kun! Everyone! Takeru-kun and I finally made it away from Blackthorn and are back in Cherrygrove now, so we're completely safe! Have you made it here yet?

[Sometime later, locked to Miyako, Mimi, and any other girls that Hikari's talked to here in Johto.]

Umm... I think I need some advice. What do you do if you... well... really like two different people? I mean, like... really, really like.

... Giving special valentine's day chocolates like.

[Even later, Nighttime, Potential action for Cherrygrove, Accidental Video for everyone else.]

*It's late at night, and Hikari was trying to sleep, but Eevee was having none of that, jumping up and down on Hikari in the bed and shouting "Vee!" repeatedly and really loudly.

Hikari groans, opening up her eyes as she sat up.*

Eevee... what's wro...

*Hikari can't even finish that sentence, as she's now staring at several new but familiar pokémon.*

They... you all evolved?

*All four of them look pretty happy, and Eevee jumps off of Hikari and starts to glow. Hikari's eyes widen as Eevee changes and shifts a bit into...

... an Umbreon. Hikari's Eevee had just evolved into an Umbreon.

Hikari's just going to be staring a bit as she looks over at all her pokémon, eyes just wide open.*

*She runs up to him, smiling brightly.*

I'm glad you made it here! How was the trip from New Bark?

[There she is! Everyone is really here...

Ken smiles back.]

...rough. But what's important is we made it safely.

[He holds up two PokéBalls to indicate who's meant by "we".]

*Hikari's eyes widened a little bit as she saw the pokéball in Ken's hand.*

You caught another pokémon? Congratulations! What is it?

Well...not "caught", exactly.

[He opens the PokéBall, allowing the baby Houndour inside to roam free. It looks up at him, then just sits down on the pavement.]

Since I'd heard fire-types were useful in winter, I made a request from the Breeding Center.

Though now...

[A shrug. It's warm, but that's not going to stop him from looking after the new baby. Who yawns right in Hikari's face.]

Aww, it's adorable!

It kinda reminds me of my Charmander. He's a bit lazy, but loveable. He's always been that way since he hatched.

*She blinks for a moment, before her eyes widen.*

Oh, Ichijouji-kun! This reminds me of someone I need to give you. You remember how everyone says that you were here before, right?

[Houndour gives Hikari a look, sensing tone if not full comprehension, and lies down on Ken's foot.

Ken doesn't seem to mind, stepping back slightly to let Houndour lounge better.]

Yes....though I don't recall it myself.

[He still feels sheepish about that.]

*Hikari smiles, nodding a bit.*

That's okay. The reason I'm asking is because when you left the first time, I ended up getting one of your pokémon. She's a Happiny, and I think she really misses you.

One of my....?

[--like the "Butterfree" he saw on Daisuke's feed. He had more of them.

He left these Pokémon behind. With his friends, yes, but...]

...then I'd gladly meet her again.

It's all right with - both of you?

[Another Pokémon. He has to take care of her, and hope she can forgive him for forgetting.]

It's definitely alright with me! Come on, let's go to the Pokémon center so I can bring her out.

[He nods.] Right.

[Nudging Houndour, he tries to interest the Pokémon in moving. When it simply looks up at him, he shrugs and offers it the PokéBall again. Houndour seems to prefer this method of travel.

With a somewhat sheepish laugh, he'll head off towards the Center.]

*Hikari giggled as she followed Ken over towards the Center.*

Guess Houndour's definitely a lot like my Charmander.

[Ken wills himself to believe it's all right, he's not failing as a Trainer because Houndour isn't very enthusiastic. Well, not failing yet.

And he almost went without saying anything at all, but awkward silence just seemed loud.]

Then - I'll consult you as I need to, if that's all right.

He's not a...troublesome Pokémon....

That's alright.

And yeah, Charmander's the same. He's just lazy.

[Ken isn't completely convinced "lazy" is the best adjective for Houndour, but that's just him being extremely particular. No point in troubling his friend.

Looking around for a while, he realizes everything he doesn't know about the new friend he's about to meet.]

...this - Happiny. Is there - anything I should know...?

*Hikari shrugged.*

Well, probably. She's such a sweetheart, and likes being hugged.

Oh, and she really likes rocks too. I think she's pretending their eggs.

Rocks...

[He thinks about this. Maybe she can help look after the other Pokémon, if she likes PokéBalls just as much.]

I'll be sure to find her some things she'd like.

Yeah. I'm sure you'll have no problem!

*And there they go, getting right to the pokémon center.*

[Oh good, we're here! Ken has plenty of room in his party, so he doesn't have to worry there...

He swallows, actually nervous about meeting his Pokémon again. But he'll put on a smile for Hikari - and the Happiny he's about to re-meet.]

*Hikari smiles, moving to the pc as she starts typing on it, ready to get Ken's Happiny out of it and back to her original owner. While Hikari was taking good care of the baby pokémon, she'd definitely be better off with Ken again. Especially considering how many pokémon Hikari already had.

Soon enough, the pokéball was out, and Hikari had it grasped into her hand before she let Happiny out of it.

The little pokémon blinked, before yawning a bit.*

Morning Happiny! I have a surprise for you!

Pini?

*Hikari grabs the baby pokémon, and moves around to turn her towards Ken.

It only takes a second for her to start making some excited squeals and reaching out towards Ken. Someone definitely remembers him.*

[Ken's expression clears instantly upon seeing the baby Pokémon. Stepping forward, he reaches to accept her from Hikari.]

Apologies for the wait, Happiny. I've returned.

[Even without remembering her, he can't help but be fond already.]

[[ooc: out of curiosity, are Happiny's stats, nature, etc. listed anywhere?]]

*Hikari smiled, handing her over to Ken. The little pokémon just squealed happily as she clinged to Ken. He was back, yay!*

Looks like she's really happy to see you.

[OOC: Ah. Nope. Sorry. I kinda... got lazy with the list of pokémon and the stats. So feel free to do whatever you want. She hasn't been having Happiny fight at all though, so she's a pretty low level.]

[Ken cradles his new Pokémon as best he can, unsure of how best to carry her - though it doesn't seem like Happiny is in any mood to nitpick.

Sorry, Hikari, his focus is primarily on his newfound friend.]

[Something occurs to Ken while he's patting the baby, who has begun to rapid-fire update him on her life in a stream of "hap", "pi", and "ny". He puts a hand on her head to let her know he's listening, and turns briefly to Hikari.]

Are you staying here at the Center?

*Hikari blinked, looking over at Ken.*

I'm not sure yet. Takeru-kun and I didn't really talk about it much. We'll figure something out though.
